Soloists

To my ear, the most haunting voices in the New England forest chorus belong to the Wood thrush and the Veery. And I’m lucky enough right now to have a Wood thrush singing in the woods behind me, and a Veery across the road.

Also, a Catbird is doing his squawky best to imitate the thrush. Sort of like me trying to stand in for The Diva.
